TOiVO – Spring Forward Community Dance-Party Fundraiser for Trumansburg Conservatory

TOIVO, playing traditional social dance music of the Finger Lakes and more, will present a Spring Forward Community Dance-Party Fundraiser for the Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts (TCFA).


This fun event will take place  in the TCFA auditorium on Sunday, March 10, 2024 – Daylight Savings Time begins. Come and enjoy the biggest, best wooden dance floor in the Finger Lakes. All ages are welcome! TOiVO plays music that is good for dancing and good for listening! Refreshments will be available. Bring a partner or come alone! Wallflowers are welcome, too! TOiVO will play an eclectic mix of Scandinavian, Tex-Mex, Cajun, blues, honky-tonk, European, South American, and many original dance tunes. You’ll enjoy waltzes, tangos, two-steps, polkas, schottisches, hambos, foxtrots, and cheek-to-cheek.


The players are Richard Koski, button accordion; Jason Koski, mandolin; Stefan Senders, banjo and triangle; Jim Reidy, guitar; Harley Campbell, upright bass; and Annie Campbell, snare drum. Disco Dance Party at the Conservatory Saturday Night, April 27, 7:30-10pm Tickets $15 online at TCFA.live, $20 at the door Hustle back to the 70’s with mirror balls and colorful lights as our fabulous dance floor becomes the scene! DJ Obvious Objects will be spinning all of your favorite disco dance songs, and your ticket price Includes complimentary retro snacks and one drink of your choice. The Conservatory will also be selling beer, wine, and specialty wine coolers: calypso coladas and strawberry margaritas. Get in the groove and dress to impress with your funkiest threads and enter the costume contest. One lucky winner will receive tickets to this year’s GrassRoots Unplugged event (a $100 value, no additional cost to enter) This event is a great way to kick off spring, so boogie on down to the Disco Dance Party!
