Alice Gant Banner Class in March
Come and make a banner with the guidance of fabric artist Alice Gant on three Sunday afternoons: March 11, 18 and 25. Following and exploring the theme of "Music Hath Charms," participants will use varied fabrics and stitching techniques to create images of a musical hero, a favorite tune or style, an instrument ... the possibilities are many. Handmade Holiday Market:
A Select Show and Sale by Outstanding Area Artisans
On Saturday, December 3, as part of Winterfest, the Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts (TCFA) hosted the Handmade Holiday Market: A Select Show and Sale by Outstanding Area Artisans. Live holiday music was offered by the Trumansburg Community Chorus at 1 p.m., and by pianist Noah Vella at 3 p.m. There was a children's ornament-decorating workshop at 2 p.m., and chili and cornbread by Word of Mouth Catering.
