Main Street; Trumansburg, NY We are thrilled to announce that our 2025 Spring music recital is just around the corner! Join us for a delightful afternoon filled with beautiful music as our talented music students perform an exciting variety of compositions featuring the piano, guitar, violin, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, and ukulele. All performers are students of Mr. Bill Gregg. TOiVO – Spring Forward Community Dance-Party Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm Enfield Valley Grange: 178 Enfield Main Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850 Fundraiser for TCFA General Operations Suggested Donation: $10 (larger donations always welcome) Enjoy the opportunity to dance on a large wooden dance floor and celebrate the feel of any age-old dance hall. All ages are welcome! TOIVO, playing traditional social dance music of the Finger Lakes and more, will present a Spring Forward Community Dance-Party Fundraiser for the Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts. This fun event will take place at the Enfield Valley Grange on Sunday, March 9, 2025 – when Daylight Savings Time begins. All ages are welcome! TOiVO plays music that is good for dancing and good for listening! Bring a partner or come alone! TOiVO will play an eclectic mix of Scandinavian, Tex-Mex, Cajun, blues, honky-tonk, European, South American, and many original dance tunes. You’ll enjoy waltzes, tangos, two-steps, polkas, schottisches, hambos, foxtrots, and cheek-to-cheek. The players are Richard Koski, button accordion; Jason Koski, mandolin; Stefan Senders, banjo and triangle; Jim Reidy, guitar; Harley Campbell, upright bass; and Annie Campbell, snare drum. Can Give Concert: Benefitting the Trumansburg Food Pantry Sun, Jan 26, 1:00pm-4:00 Ulysses Philomathic Library 17 Main Street: Trumansburg, NY DIRECTIONS Welcome the New Year with a TCFA live music event supporting the Trumansburg Food Pantry . Sponsored by TCFA's Basement Club, Lynn Wiles and George Cook will be joining players, singers and songwriters from the Trumansburg community. The afternoon will feature a live mix of jazz, folk and blues tunes. Drop in and catch some live music. Drop off canned / dry goods for the Food Pantry! Admission is free, but please bring cans/dry goods to donate (no minimum quantity). Personal hygiene and cleaning items are also welcome, but no clothes. About the Trumansburg Food Pantry: The mission of the Trumansburg Food Pantry is simply to distribute free food to people who are struggling to provide food for themselves or their families. Occasionally, personal care items and cleaning supplies are also available. There are no financial requirements, and currently there are no residential restrictions. If you’re hungry, our volunteer team is here to help! Customers are offered staples like bread, milk, and eggs; plus, many other items such as meat, pasta & sauces, cereal, peanut butter, canned tuna and chicken, butter, cheese, soups, and fresh produce – our menu changes and is sometimes unpredictable depending on availability. Generous community donations allow us to purchase the quality of foods we all enjoy and the quantity of foods needed to serve over 100 individuals in our community. The Trumansburg Food Pantry is supported by an outstanding team of dedicated volunteers, strong community interest, and assistance from the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, the United Way of Tompkins County, and our local organizations, grocers and farms.
