TCFA Capital Campaign

Build for the Future: Invest in the Arts!

At the Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts, we believe that investing in the arts is investing in our community's future.

For over 41 years, we've been a vibrant hub for creativity in the Finger Lakes region, nurturing artists and bringing people together through the transformative power of art.

Join us in our mission to inspire, educate, and elevate the arts.

Your support helps us continue to provide exceptional programs and events that enrich lives and foster artistic expression.

We're excited to share that our Capital Campaign has been incredibly successful, and thanks to the funding we have received, renovation of our beautiful building is now underway.

“Our arts and culture sector is a powerhouse, inspiring the world with innovation and creativity,” Governor Hochul said. “By investing in our museums, our theaters and our arts centers, we enrich our communities, strengthen local economies and improve tourism all over the State.”

Contributions have come in all sizes, from individual donations, grants, and fundraising events, with amounts both large and small. We truly appreciate the support from everyone involved as we move forward with this important project.

About the Campaign:

Full Funding Reached: $1.7 Million Raised

Recent grants and donations totaling $800,500 have brought TCFA’s overall fundraising to $1.7 million—enough to complete both exterior and interior renovations.

We are deeply grateful for the generous support that has made this next phase possible. In addition to individual contributions from our generous community, our Capital Campaign has received substantial contributions from Assemblymember Anna Kelles, State Senator Lea Webb, the Peggy and Roger Gerry Charitable Trust, the Delavan Foundation, the Southern Tier Economic Development Council, the Park Foundation, Tompkins County, the Village of Trumansburg, and the New York State Council of the Arts.

“The Conservatory’s work to provide accessible arts education and cultural programming

continues to serve as an invaluable community resource for Trumansburg and the greater

Tompkins County region. The planned facility improvements will enhance energy efficiency,

accessibility, and the long-term sustainability of this important institution.”
